Grove Art Online
What is it?
Grove Art Online is an online version of the full text of The [Grove] Dictionary of Art, ed. by Jane Turner (1996) and The Oxford Companion to Western Art, ed. by Hugh Brigstocke (2001). It includes ongoing additions of new and updated articles, over 3000 thumbnail art images and a range of search and navigation functions. It also incorporates comprehensive links to image databases and the resources of museum and gallery websites worldwide.
