The Neoplatonism Seminar

Research Seminars are open to the wider public to take part in investigating themed approaches with partners from other institutions.

 

The Seminar meets on Mondays 5:30-7:30 pm, in Classroom 1, at the Warburg Institute.

After reading the Enneads of Plotinus and the Elements of Theology of Proclus, on its third year, the Seminar will focus on In Platonis Parmenidem, Proclus’s extensive commentary on Plato’s Parmenides. You can find details of the dates and sections in the programme below.

The first meeting will be on Monday 26/09/16, preceded by a three week reading, starting on Monday 5/09/16,  of Plato’s Parmenides.

We wish to welcome you to our weekly sessions to join an ongoing exchange which includes Prof. Harold Tarrant, Prof. Dilwyn Knox, Prof. Mark Kalderon, Dr Peter Singer and Dr Guido Giglioni.
