Applications are now open for our short-term and long-term funded research fellowships.

Frances A Yates Long-Term Fellowships

Deadline For Applications: 5 February 2021

Each year the Institute offers post-doctoral long-term Yates Fellowships to support research on projects on any aspect of cultural, intellectual or art history supported by the resources of the Institute’s Library, Photographic Collection or Archive. The awards provide financial support towards living and subsistence costs in London for nine to twelve months.

Short-Term Fellowships

Deadline For Applications: 5 February 2021

The Warburg Institute’s post-doctoral short-term fellowships support research on projects on aspects of cultural, intellectual or art history concerning the history of the classical tradition, the ancient near East, and contacts between Europe and Asia, which are supported by the resources of the Institute’s Library, Photographic Collection or Archive. Three Fellowships of three-months duration are available from 27 September 2021 to 1 July 2022.
