The Gombrich Archive
The Gombrich Archive holds the correspondence, working and personal papers of Ernst H. Gombrich, former Director of the Institute and one of the most famous and influential art historians of the 20th Century.
It has a special status within the Warburg Institute Archive's collections as it is on permanent loan from the Literary Estate of Sir Ernst H. Gombrich.
In order to access the collection, readers must first obtain permission from the Literary Estate.
