The Warburg Institute (WIA I)
The Archive holds extensive resources on the history of the Warburg Institute from its beginnings as a private library through the building of the Kulturwissenschaftliche Bibliothek Warburg (K.B.W.) in Hamburg in 1926, to the move to London in 1933/34 which resulted in a name change and two further moves before it found its present home in Bloomsbury.
