Thesis 

The Passions in English Medicine and Science (1600-1680): The Transformation of Emotion across Body, Spirit and Soul

My project traces how ‘the passions of the soul’ (such as anger, fear and joy) were understood to affect bodily health over the course of the seventeenth century in England.
