The Warburg Institute offers a continuation of its online reading course in Classical Greek Texts for advanced level students with a further eight sessions, and a new text, for the Summer Term 2022.
In Term 3 (Summer 2022) we will focus on Homer's Odyssey, book 23 and parts of 24, in the Stanford's edition in the red Macmillan series: Odyssey XIII-XXIV (Bloomsbury). Students will be expected to prepare passages in advance, which we will then read together, and discuss, taking into account literary, linguistic and contextual perspectives.
