Description
The Warburg Institute offers two courses in late Medieval and Renaissance Latin in 2019-2020, designed to train students to read and understand late Medieval and Renaissance documents. They will focus on grammar and vocabulary, and on the forms taken by commonly used documents as well as their texts. 

NB: Students at each level will be able to take a mock exam, and receive feedback, late spring or early summer term 2020, dates tbc.

Registration and payment (for 20 classes across two terms): 
  • Warburg students: free of charge 
  • SAS staff and students: £250 
  • LAHP-funded students (non-SAS): £300 
  • Standard rate: £500

Beginner Class:
Wednesdays, 9 October -11 December 2019 (excluding 6 November), and 15 January – 25 March 2020 (excluding 19 February)
11:15-13:15 
Tutor: Dr Lucy Nicholas 
Venue: The Warburg Institute, Classroom 1 
NB: Students will be able to take an additional revision class at the end of the Spring 2020 term.
 
Intermediate/Advanced:
Wednesdays, 9 October -11 December 2019 (excluding 6 November), and 15 January – 25 March 2020 (excluding 19 February)
16.00-18.00
