Dr James A. Welu (Director Emeritus, Worcester Art Museum, Worcester, MA): ‘Vermeer’s “mania for maps”' 

Lectures in the history of cartography convened by Catherine Delano-Smith (Institute of Historical Research, University of London), Tony Campbell (formerly Map Library, British Library), Peter Barber (Visiting Fellow, History, King’s College, formerly Map Library, British Library) and Alessandro Scafi (Warburg Institute). 

Meetings are usually held at the Warburg Institute, School of Advanced Study, University of London, Woburn Square, London WC1H OAB, at 5.00 pm on selected Thursdays. Admission is free (please reserve below), and each meeting is followed by refreshments. All are most welcome.
