Continuing its online activities, this year the Warburg Institute offers Renaissance Italian as a virtual class via zoom over five intensive days: Mon-Fri 20-24 September 2021, 1-3pm and 4-5pm each day.
The course is designed for students who already possess a solid understanding of modern Italian. It will focus on the grammar, vocabulary and orthography of Renaissance Italian, with the aim of helping students to navigate primary sources produced in a range of social and regional contexts between the fourteenth and seventeenth centuries.
