Continuing its online activities, this year the Warburg Institute offers Renaissance Italian Intensive as a virtual class via zoom over five intensive days either side of a weekend break: Thurs-Fri 14 & 15 Sept, and Mon-Weds 18, 19, 20 September 2023, 11am - 1.00pm and 2.00 - 3.00pm each day.
The course is designed for students who already possess a solid understanding of modern Italian. It will focus on the grammar, vocabulary and orthography of Renaissance Italian, with the aim of helping students to navigate primary sources produced in a range of social and regional contexts between the fourteenth and seventeenth centuries.
