Warburg Institute Funded Research Fellowships
Long-Term Research Fellowships in Intellectual, Cultural and Art History
Nine- to twelve-month post-doctoral fellowships which support research on projects on any aspect of cultural, intellectual or art history supported by the resources of the Institute’s collections.

Ouseley Short-Term Research Fellowship
An award providing financial support towards living and subsistence costs in London to enable scholars to undertake a period of research on the Arabic, Persian, Hindustani and other Oriental languages in the UK.

Short-Term Research Fellowships in Intellectual, Cultural and Art History
Three-month post-doctoral fellowships which support research on projects on aspects of cultural, intellectual or art history concerning the history of the classical tradition, the ancient near East, and contacts between Europe and Asia, which are supported by the resources of the Institute’s collections.
Applications currently closed. We will not be offering any short-term fellowships for 2023-24 due to the Warburg Renaissance Project.
