Warburg Renaissance project receives generous donation from the Kythera Foundation
We are delighted to announce a major gift in support of the Warburg Renaissance. Thanks to a generous grant of €600,000 from the Kythera Foundation, we will be able to carry out essential upgrades to the climate control and security in the new ground-floor exhibition space.
The Kythera Foundation was created in 2001 by Gabriele Henkel to support cultural dialogue and promote exhibitions. We at the Warburg are proud to recognise her vision and legacy by naming the space after her foundation. The gift will allow us to display works from other institutions or individuals that would otherwise have been impossible, and to show our own collections in greatly improved conditions.
