Bio
Peter is an arts professional with over 20 years of experience in arts administration and other related fields. He holds an MA in Curatorial Studies from University of Sydney, as well as degrees in visual art (painting) and design. Peter was most recently the Deputy Director at NTU Centre for Contemporary Art, Singapore, a national research centre of Nanyang Technological University that included an extensive programme of international exhibitions, artist residencies, academic research and publication.
Over the last two decades, Peter has worked in arts, design, events and hospitality. Notably in the arts sector, Peter began his arts career at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Australia, before taking up the position of Art Consultant at Artbank, the Australian Government’s contemporary art collection and arts support program. Later, he became the Assistant Director and Head Art Consultant, overseeing the collection’s outward engagement and public access.
Prior to working in Singapore, Peter was the Assistant Director at the Art Gallery Society of New South Wales, the membership organisation at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney.
