There is planned UCU industrial action on 24-25 and 30 November which may affect services at the Warburg. We recommend checking our website before travelling to use the Archive, Library or Photographic Collection or attend classes.
The Warburg Institute celebrated the 150th anniversary of the birth of Aby Warburg with a conference dedicated to his work and heritage. Distinguished scholars discussed the implications of Warburg’s thought and vision for the history of art, images and cultures, illuminating the past and revealing the potential of Warburg's writings for the debate about contemporary cultural differences as well.
Speaker: Peter Miller (Bard Graduate Centre, New York)
