Teaching

We expect students to travel to London where possible as the Institute will be open, but we understand that local restrictions on travel across the world may make this difficult or impossible. If you aren’t able to join us in London immediately, we will make reasonable adjustments so you can achieve the same learning outcomes wherever you are in the world.

Our flexible approach, which will be in place for the Autumn Term, means that even if your arrival is delayed by travel restrictions, you can continue to participate fully in our academic community and continue your studies with us, connecting with your tutors and fellow students both inside and outside of the classroom. We are using the technologies available to plan teaching sessions that combine recorded lectures you can access anytime with in person or online seminar meetings to highlight discussion and deliver the learning outcomes you expect from the Institute. The StudyOnline pages for each module will outline how the course will be run and have links to all the resources that you need.

Following the designation of London as Tier-2 for Covid-19 restrictions we have taken all teaching online. We will resume in-person teaching when London is moved back to Tier-1.

Covid-19 Measures

In all our in-person teaching spaces additional measures have been implemented to make them Covid-secure, including limiting numbers to enable social distancing, mandatory mask wearing, additional cleaning and provision of sanitiser and wipes for studnet use. Please note that it is your responsibility to provide your own mask.
