Lower Ground Floor
The Lower Ground Floor features new facilities for the storage, care and consultation of our Archives, Rare Books and Photo Collection as well as a new meeting/teaching room.
The double-height Ground Floor features a new public-facing hub, new teaching suite, the permanent installation of Edmund de Waal’s Library of Exile and the new point of access for collections on all floors.
The First Floor will hold all books devoted to Image and a new suite of offices for all Library staff.
The Second Floor will hold all books devoted to Word, offices for academic staff and group study spaces for our postgraduate students.
The Third Floor will hold all books devoted to Orientation in expanded stacks and a new suite of spaces for the Secretariat.
The Fourth Floor will hold all books on Action as well as study carrels and project offices.
