The Warburg Renaissance will ensure that the Warburg Institute is secure, vibrant and accessible to new generations. It will repair our much-loved but long-neglected building and create a stunning new structure in the courtyard, with a greatly expanded Lecture Theatre and new storage and study spaces for our Archives and Special Collections. The Library will be given room to grow, while an enlarged teaching suite and improved group study areas will help us reach a larger and more diverse community of students. Our double-height ground floor will be opened to the public for the first time, with a new common room and the Institute’s first gallery for physical and digital display.
