The Aristotle Reading Group

Organised by: Emily Corran (UCL), Jack Ford (UCL) and Charles Burnett

The Aristotle Reading Group will be dedicated to reading the works of Aristotle in English translation. This year we will focus on Aristotle’s logical corpus, starting with the Categories. The group is open to everyone who is interested in Aristotle: the organisers of the group are both medievalists who came to Aristotle through medieval scholasticism, but we welcome those with a background in classics, philosophy, literature, medieval and renaissance studies, and all other disciplines (or no discipline). No experience in Aristotle or philosophy is necessary. Readings will be pre-circulated by email.

If you would like to attend please email to receive reading extracts prior to the session.

The reading group takes place on occasional Wednesdays, see below for the timetable.
